USA TODAY’s Ad Meter has ranked the Super Bowl commercials every year since 1989. Here to reimagine four of the most creative ads from that era is Instagram and Vine video maker Meagan Cignoli.
1. “Bottle”
Inspired by Pepsi’s “Innertube”, which won Ad Meter in 1995.
2. “Frogs”
Inspired by Budweiser’s original frogs commercial, which finished ninth in 1995.
3. “Pug & Chips”
Inspired by Doritos’ 2011 ad “Dog’s Revenge”, which finished second in Ad Meter.
4. “Dog & Horse”
Inspired by Budweiser’s “Puppy Love”, which won Ad Meter last year.
